History
In the Beginning
Ameronix Corporation began their business operations in 2003 as an "in-house" IT group for First National Brokerage Corporation of Richmond, VA. Ameronix consisted of the two founders, Brian Harris - President, and Mory Wood - CEO of FNBC. Brian soon added a lead web developer and graphic designer, Chad Hobgood in 2004. The main responsibilities of the company within the first years were to maintain the agent database system for the brokerage as well as develop smaller web applications for agents of the brokerage on a case by case basis. As years passed and the web industry began to grow exponentially, Mory and Brian decided to take a chance, and take the company to the next level.
Brian went to Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia to study Information Systems and Web Application Programming. Mory had been involved with computer programming since the 80's, so this seemed like a logical focus for the company to move towards. Ameronix was not shaping out to be an ordinary web design company, but a diamond in the rough considering custom application programming for local companies. They were involved with local educational facilities and developing software for local schools and offices within months of the change of business direction. At this point, they knew they were capable of doing great things for this company, city, and industry.

Moving On
At the start of 2007, Ameronix decided to really promote their business into the public sector of commerce, by adding a sales driven aspect to the company, as well as more programmers and developers to keep the flow of work in effective motion. Brad Darden was brought on to head up the Sales / Marketing Department and try to use innovative ways to bring Ameronix to the forefront of the web development industry in the local Richmond area. Ameronix began using large mailing campaigns to endorse their products and services, and within weeks had added several new clients to their roster of customers. Ameronix plans on delving deep into the realm of Internet Marketing and SEO in the near future.
By the end of 2007, Ameronix had grown too big for its shell, so to speak. They had 6 employees working out of a 10'x10' room on the second floor of FNBC. Needless to say, it was time for Ameronix to cut the cord and move out on there own. Today, they are located only a couple blocks up the road from the brokerage, in a newly renovated office building, still with the responsibility of keeping the operations of the brokerage running smoothly, yet fully engaged on the new potential of growing this company to an all time high. The possibilities are endless, Ameronix likes to say.

Today
Ameronix Corporation has partnered with other companies, as well as developed lasting relationships with local companies in the Richmond area looking to fully exploit the need for this type of web development work. The employees at Ameronix Corporation are all young and motivated, willing to make this company extremely successful. The era of technology is looming and Ameronix is here to help all fully embrace the potential of the future. Everyone must be willing to accept the change and think about how it could truly help your business become and remain successful into the coming years. Ameronix looks forward to working together with all types of businesses and plans on being involved for quite sometime.
